Adrien will be performing a selection of Pete Seeger songs as a part of an exciting line-up of musicians on May 3 at Bearsville Theater in Woodstock, NY. Hosted by local legend Happy Traum, the concert is set to benefit the Woodstock Day School and Hudson River Sloop Clearwater efforts. The line-up includes David Amram, Larry Campbell, Josh Ritter, AC Newman, Tracy Bonham, and more. Definitely an event worth planning a weekend trip to Woodstock. For more information click here.
Adrien had a fun interview with Michael McCartney for The Time Machine. They talk about music, movies, what it's like to live in Woodstock, and their mutual childhood craze for Jem & The Holograms. Take a listen. Starts at about 11 min in.
Happy Friday! Here's a video of Adrien's cover of Tom Waits "I Hope I Don't Fall in Love With You". This is a solo performance in Woodstock done in one-take using the 8mm Vintage Camera App on the iPhone. Enjoy, like and share! http://youtu.be/lCQM-pnSkfk

I'll be debuting songs from my forth coming album as well as old favorites.
Brad Hinton kicks off the show with a set of his own brand of jaunty old-soul alt-country blues, and will join me in my set singing sweet harmonies and playing various instruments.
Then you're in for a treat when Thom McCarthy follows Brad with a set of songs that sound like they were born out of a love triangle between Roy Orbison, Django Reinhardt and The Mighty Sparrow.
I'm always blown away by the level of musical and songcrafting talent in my native Philadelphia and this is a show not to be missed!
Adrien joins A.C. Newman's band for two shows in support of Neko Case on 9/25 at the Electric Factory (Philadelphia, PA) and 9/26 at Radio City Music Hall (NYC). Unlike the mulit-member pop band arrangements fans are used to seeing him with, this will be a special stripped-down acoustic show including husband and wife blues-folk-rock duo Mike + Ruthy, Owen Biddle on acoustic bass and Adrien on vocals.
You may recognize A.C. Newman as the leader of the Vancouver-based indie rock super-group The New Pornographers (for which Neko Case was a front member before her solo career). On top of being a songwriter and band leader extraordinaire, he is also a pretty funny guy. Watch the Official video for "I'm Not Talking" from his latest solo album Shut Down the Streets.
Tickets for both shows are available now through TicketMaster:
9/25 - Electric Factory, Philadelphia, PA Tickets
9/26 - Radio City Music Hall, NYC Tickets
Tickets for The Summer Hoot are on sale now!
